DuPont Tyvek is a premier product that we are proud to install.

DuPont Building Envelope Systems help make buildings more durable, comfortable, and energy-efficient.

Whether it’s a skyscraper or a single-family home, the building envelope is an essential line of defense against air, water and wasted energy.

DuPontBuilding Envelope Systems offer solutions that meet or exceed codes, help extend building life, and help reduce fossil fuel consumption. They resist moisture and air, but are highly permeable, to reduce the risk of condensation damage, wood rot or mold growth.

DuPont has been the industry leader since it invented the building wrap category more than 30 years ago. Today, we’re working with architects, builders and installers on innovative solutions for the next generation of new construction, and renovation of existing buildings.

Radiant barrier can help keep your home cooler in the Summer and warmer in the Winter. Call us for more information.

A properly installed radiant barrier can help your home or office reflect the sun's rays back away from the interior of your attic and lower your heating and cooling bills.

Radiant Barrier for Cooling:

Our radiant barrier will greatly reduce the radiant heat that builds up in your shingle roof from penetrating into your attic and taxing your HVAC system. By using the ventilation already installed in your attic (or we can help with that too) the radiant barrier forces the hot air out faster to bring cooler air into your attic through soffit vents. Radiant barrier makes your insulation much more effective and thereby lowers your cooling costs and increases the comfort in your building.

Radiant Barrier For Heating:

Radiant barrier works by the same principle (in reverse) when keeping the heat inside your home in the winter. As your heater works, heat rises and slips past the insulation in your attic. Radiant barrier will help hold the heat in by reflecting it back into your home. This helps reduce heating costs in the winter and keeps your home much more comfortable.

Reduces Hotspots in Your Home:

Do you have one room that always seems to be hotter than the others? It is possible that your roof is literally heating that room because of the radiant heat that is being transferred. A radiant barrier can help solve this problem by reflecting the sun's energy back away from your living areas thereby keeping them cooler and more comfortable.

Insulation:

An excellent option for your roof's ventilation needs.

What is a Smartvent?

SmartVent is a tapered, under shingle plastic product designed for installation along the soffit edge of the roof or the facing edge of dormer rakes and goes virtually unnoticed. It allows air to flow freely through the 1" roof decking slit providing more than adequate soffit ventilation to maximize ridge vent effectiveness. This is extremely important since most ridge vent products require an equal amount of ventilation at the soffit in order to work properly. SmartVent, when used at both soffits, has a total NFA rating of 18 sq. in. (or 9 sq. in. on each side of a standard gable roof).

SmartVent is a patented roof and attic ventilation product that provides the best passive attic ventilation available. Using a unique design and installation method, SmartVent eliminates the problems and inefficiencies found in roof construction using ridge and soffit venting, namely inadequate vent openings in the soffit.

Are your ridge and soffit vents good enough?

Most houses with ridge vents do not have the proper soffit ventilation required because attic insulation blocks the soffit vents. SmartVent allows cooler air to enter under the shingle, through the 1" roof slit and out the ridge vent providing superior air flow and attic cooling.

Powered vents offer extra benefit by actively pulling hot air from your attic space. Call us for more information.

Powered Attic Ventilation:

One of the best ways to draw unwanted heat out of an attic is the installation of powered vents. A powered vent has a fan of varying sizes that is tied into your electrical system to draw heat and moisture out of your attic space. A professional should be consulted when you are dealing with ventilation issues.

Ventilation Experts:

When dealing with attic ventilation issues, choosing an expert is a must. Improper attic ventilation can be a disaster that lead to extremely expensive repair bills in the future. An expert will calculate the volume of your space and how much air movement is needed to properly ventilate your space.

Solar Powered Vents:

Solar Power Vents are powered vents that rely on the sun's energy to power the fan built into it. This will reduce your electrical usage and reduce expenses of wiring the vent into your electrical system. We are happy to tell you about all of your options when we find out more about your needs.
